The other day we all headed out to Marine Lake in Southport to do some outside shooting whilst it wasn't flat lighting. I think i got some really individual shots of places that are photographed on the daily but i did mine with a twist. I converted some of the images to black and white because it makes the image stand out and look unique, it also gives the image a timeless feel.

I tried to incorporate leading lines in to a few of my shots which help guide the eye to certain things in the image. I also love the rawness of the second to last shot and how truthful it is of the times we live in were living costs are going up and up and the wages are staying the same and as well as that there is a lack of housing so these concrete towers are what we have to put up with but i guess concrete can be made to look pretty too, the image gives them an urban feel.

Here are a few of the many portraits that i photographed for this project, i have rounded lots of different shots down to these few as i love them very much.
