Studio Advertisement- Lighting Workshop

Today we all went into the studio to photograph a red wine bottle as an advertisement example and also to show us how to photograph difficult items such as glass because of course it will reflect your lighting setup and maybe even the studio but with the right lighting and a lot of patience you can photograph anything you put your mind too.

This is how we set up the bottle shoot, we had two wafer lights at the side of the bottle and then we had a main snoot light facing down onto the bottle at an angle.
We then decided to take some photos of a wine glass with liquid splashing in it, we filled a bottle with orange juice (so it would show up on camera as plain water wouldn't show up as well.

As you can see the images worked out well, the only light we had on the subject was a big box light behind it just to make it all stand out and look pretty.

I then decided to go into the studio by myself to take a few product shots, i thought it went well but I need more practice.
