So when I got this brief i sat down with a pen and paper and wrote down a load of ideas, from products to food until I realized I would adore to do fashion advertising as I love fashion and its what I want to do in the future, fashion photography.

I really want to collaborate with our fantastic 'Art & Design' and 'Hair & Beauty' team as it will not only be good for my brief and portfolio but for their portfolios too.

I want to make it a controversial campaign and kind of reverse gender stereotypes, so i want the girls wearing primarily male clothes and the boys wearing primarily female clothes and bright makeup.

Update- I have just been to see a girl called Jane in the Art & Design area and she is willing to collab with me and she has some really cool T-shirts and other designs,

Then I met another girl called Alex and she has the most amazing unique T-shirts and she is also willing to collab with me. I am so excited to collab with two amazing people who have similar aspirations as I do. They get things out of this collab too as they will be able to use my product/model shots in their portfolio.

So the ideas i wrote down were:

Bright Lipsticks

Big Garments

Retro theme

Big hanging earrings

Bright/Bold eye makeup

Boys wearing makeup/heels/dresses

All inclusive

Spring/Summer Collection:

Bright colours

Flowers

Stripes

Unique items

I want to do most of it in the studio but I want to do some of the shots outside too or maybe do all of the shots in the studio and super impose one of my outdoor shots behind the model. I would also love to do some light trails around the models too, i think that would be really cool.

Here are some of the ideas i got off the internet:

I really want my fashion advertising to give off a retro/vintage feel, with bold colours but I want to bring it into the 21st century by reversing gender stereotypes.

So where do we see advertisements?

Well the fact is we see advertisements everywhere, whether its the train station, bus stop, on the street, on TV or in a shop. Advertisements truly are EVERYWHERE and you cannot escape them, here are a few of the billions of advertisements out there:

All advertisements have a intended target audience, most of these advertisements give out the message if you buy our products then you will be like this or you will attract certain people in your life.

I then went into the studio and took a few test shot images of the t-shirts on mannequins, just to get a feel for the t-shirts and the lighting techniques.

I then went into the studio and photographed the t-shirts on models to show how the real product will look on people, here are the results:

T-shirt 1

T-shirt 2

T-shirt 3
